Growing up with a Farmall Cub as a young child of age 3 or 4 and helping my Father change Implements regularly during the growing season made me quite familiar with all the Farmall/International intricacies. Back them our neighbor had a “Super-A” (International 140 fore-runner) which appeared to be much Superior to our cub even at age 5. Eventually as our farm tractor chores grew we up-graded (added) to a 140 Tractor. The first was a 1969 International 140 sickle-mowing tractor with an International model 105 balanced mower. After getting one 140 tractor we soon learned one is never enough and now have many for different tasks around the farm.

As the consumer’s food interests and needs slowly changed to more locally-grown and sustainably grown crops the number of 140 tractors in the area multiplied tremendously.
